With a wealth of expertise, particularly in inflammatory bowel disease (IBD), he completed a 12-month advanced fellowship in IBD imaging in Canada, where he mastered this specialised skill. He is also pursuing a PhD in this field, further enhancing his understanding of the gut and its vital role in overall health. He is the Head of Department of Gastroenterology at Macquarie University Hospital, Director of Endoscopy at Ryde Hospital, has been working at Sydney Gastrointestinal Specialists since 2018, and works at St. Vincent's Hospital where he contributes to IBD clinics and performs transabdominal ultrasounds. He performs advanced gastroscopies and colonoscopies at Macquarie University Hospital, Ryde Hospital and Pennant Hills Day Surgery. Accredited by the Gastroenterological Society of Australia (GESA), he has been recognised by the Conjoint Committee for the Recognition of Training in Gastrointestinal Endoscopy for his outstanding gastroscopy and colonoscopy skills, achieving above-average polyp detection rates. In addition to his clinical work, he is dedicated to teaching the next generation of gastroenterologists and remains deeply involved in IBD research.
